b22 lab

Single sign-on for a private home lab.

b22 lab is a private, invitation-only sign-in service for the personal and small-business software that runs in Luke Ashe-Browne's home lab. It is not a public product and has no public sign-up.

What it does

The lab runs several internal tools, such as a project tracker and a code host. Rather than keeping a separate password for each, people sign in once through b22 lab. Where someone already has a Google account, b22 lab offers Sign in with Google as one way to prove who they are.

Who can use it

Only people the operator has approved. Signing in with Google does not by itself grant access to anything: each tool admits only the specific people it has been configured for.

What it asks Google for

Only the basic sign-in information: your email address, your name and profile picture, and your Google account identifier. It requests no access to your mail, files, calendar, contacts or any other Google data. See the privacy policy for details.
